recordingOur “Big Handed Bastard”, Brad’s family roots trace across Ireland, England and Scotland. He played drums through high school, in marching band, jazz band, orchestra and different rock/garage bands. After high school, for some unfathomable reason, Brad quit drumming. After a 20 year hiatus, he took his first professional lessons and attended many jam sessions, etc., in an effort to get back into the music scene.
After several iterations of just about every kind of bar band, Brad walked into Tom Giblin’s Irish Pub in 1999, where he met the owners and found himself falling in love with Irish music. Brad joined in on the infamous 2000 trip to Ireland, spent the next 10+ years playing in Brehon Law and found that Irish music fed his musical soul the most deeply.
